Death has eyes everywhere

I saw a thread on the Melonland Forum recently about how the concept of death should be confronted on the indie web. Not just in the sense of linkrot or obsolete websites, but the event of the real-life deaths of their webmasters. Death is scary to think about, but as the final stage of the human life cycle, it can't be avoided forever. I'm going to die one day and my website will be one of the many things I'll leave behind. I make this page to state instructions for my friends and family on how to keep my website up for as long as it possibly can after I pass.

This page isn't really supposed to be read by anyone while I'm alive (which is when I'm writing this, obviously), so I've excluded it from all hyperlinks on and off my sitemap. But if you did find the url to this page somehow: Hello! I got the idea for this page from slashpages dot net.
